2008 TRAINING CONFERENCE

Pittsburgh, PENNSYLVANIA
August 11-13 , 2008

CONFERENCE IS CLOSED

The National Association of fugitive Investigators, was founded in 1991, and incorporated in the State of South Carolina in 1994. The Association is a nonprofit corporation with a Board of Directors. The Association "by-laws" were given final approval at the Boston Conference, and all appropriate paperwork has been filed with the State of South Carolina, including "trademark" registration. The Association has grown from 50 members at the first meeting in South Carolina in 1991 to over 800 members representing all 50 states.

The National Association of Fugitive Investigators Directory will provide you with the most updated list of contacts available for Fugitive Investigations throughout the Country. Our efforts have produced a directory that represents forty-eight (48) States and Fugitive Units from States, County, Local, and Federal agencies within those states. It should be noted that the directory is intended to provide contact names and unit names for Fugitive Investigations. It will not list all members' names because of the volume and cost factor. The attendance directory given out at the annual conference will provide all members names who attend the conference.

The Board of Directors has voted that membership dues would not be required, however Fugitive Investigators are welcome to join the Association by completing the directory registration application or attending the annual conference. It should be noted that the "By-Laws" require that a member of N.A.F.I. must be a full-time law-enforcement officer who's duties include fugitive investigations. Waiver of aforementioned requirements require approval by vote of the Board of Directors. All departments/agencies listed in the directory will receive mailings concerning N.A.F.I. and future national conferences. OUR MOTTO IS SIMPLE, AND CAN BE SUMMED UP IN ONE WORD, "NETWORKING"!

If you should have any questions regarding the Association, please feel free to contact any of the following board members.
